How long, O God?

You are not a god created by human hands.
You are not a god dependent on any mortal man.
You are not a god in need of anything we can give.
By Your plan that's just the way it is.

You are God alone,
From before time began;
You were on Your throne,
You are God alone.
And right now in the good times and bad,
You are on Your throne, You are God alone.

The world right now is in turmoil: protests, riots, looting, murders, burning buildings, fighting police, defacing/destroying monuments, setting up new "countries".  It seems nothing is out of bounds. Lawlessness abounds. 

The solution: God. 

Psalm 13

How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
    How long will you hide your face from me?
 How long must I take counsel in my soul
    and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

Consider and answer me, O Lord my God;
    light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,”
    lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken.

 But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
    my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
